You don't have to pay top dollar for lean ground beef if you're planning to brown and drain it anyway. Simply rinse the drained meat under the hottest water you can get out of your tap - most of the fat will drain away.

Cranberry Nut Turkey Salad
Makes 4 servings (1 ½ cups)
POINTS® value per serving: 5
◊2 1/2 cups roasted skinless turkey, chopped or diced
1/3 cup fat-free mayonnaise
1/4 cup low-fat plain yogurt
◊1/4 cup scallions, chopped
1/4 cup chopped walnuts, toasted
2 Tbsp dried cranberries
1 Tbsp Dijon mustard
1/8 tsp table salt, or to taste
1/8 tsp black pepper, or to taste
◊4 cups romaine lettuce, torn
1. Combine all ingredients, except lettuce, in a medium bowl; mix well and serve over lettuce.
