Weight Watchers - Then and Now

Hello, Weight Watchers! Did last week's Olympic discussion inspire you to make a game out of earning Activity Points? Creating a goal to challenge ourselves can be a great motivational tool. Keep working toward your goals and you will have even more gold-medal events than the one you shared in the meeting last week!

SNACKILICIOUS SALE
Until August 23, you can save on some of your favorite treats. If you buy one Just 2 POINTS bar, Baked Snack, or Pretzel Thin, you will save $1 on a second box! This is a great time to stock up or combine forces with a friend to create your own "variety pack."

SUMMER STAY AND SUCCEED CONTEST
Every meeting you attend from now until September 6 gives you three chances to enter our new contest! When you stay for the meeting, bring a friend who joins, or purchase $20+ in a singles transaction, you will receive a ticket to enter in the drawing. The Grand Prize (one awarded for each center and four awarded to traveler meetings) is a Land's End soft-sided cooler filled with $100 in Weight Watchers products!

BREATHE DEEPLY
Before you eat, take a deep breath or two. That small moment of pause will make you more aware of your Comfort Zone and the food you're about to consume. Check out The Beauty of Breathing for more.

ARTICLES OF NOTE
Many members will remember wen Weight Watchers said they had to eat certain foods and couldn't eat others, or had to slice their bread horizontally if they wanted a sandwich. Looking back at previous Programs will bring back fond memories and "war stories" from veteran members and help newer members appreciate the current version of the plan.

By choosing Weight Watchers, we've decided to Stop dieting and start living. This week, we will be taking a trip down memory lane and discovering some "little-known facts" about the current plan.

If you have Program materials or membership books from a previous version of Weight Watchers, bring them with you to this week's meeting. I'll be recognizing our veteran members!

Have a great week, everyone!
