Hello, Weight Watchers! Did last week's meeting help you bust some carb myths? All carbs are not created equal, and the Filling Foods list can help us make smarter choices among them.
MOMENTUM WALK-IT CHALLENGE
Have you gone to www.teamweightwatchers.com and accessed the free walking or jogging training programs? We're learning more about the program all the time, and as I understand it right now, you must enter the confirmation number for the 5k you are participating in by June 6 to receive the free six-month subscription to WW magazine, regardless of when the 5k will be held. The official Team Weight Watchers 5k is the Unite 2 Fight Race Against Prostate Cancer on July 11 at 8am. You can register for the race through the Team Weight Watchers site.
ROLLS-ROYCE AT-WORK MEMBERS
We made it to 20 members for the 17-week series - yeah! Week One of the new series will be May 4 at 11am. You will receive your voucher for the free eTools at this meeting. If you're still interested, it's not too late to join - any member who joins in Week One or Two of the new series may participate in the payroll deduction and free eTools.
DUKE ENERGY AT-WORK MEMBERS
We will be starting our new series on our new day and time, Wednesday at 11:30am. I can't wait to see you there!
COVANCE AT-WORK MEMBERS
The response to our Week One meeting was outstanding! We have enough members for me to offer an UPGRADE to a 17-week series! For an additional $42, the per-week average drops from $12 to $10.94 and members who join in the first two weeks receive a voucher for 19 weeks of free eTools (a $57 value!)! In addition, the 17-week series means only three renewals each year instead of four, so less interruptions to your AW series. Please bring your payment to this Friday's meeting or leave it with Maxene Grounds. THANK YOU!!!
CHOCOLATE CHIP BROWNIE BAR
Come to this week's meeting for a free sample of the newest additon to the Just 2 POINTS bar collection, Chocolate Chip Brownie. The first ingredient of this yummy bar is real chocolate chips! It's a great two-point snack!
ARTICLES OF NOTE
Members who believe they can lose weight will lose weight because our actions are a direct result of our thoughts. However, we are not always aware of our negative thinking. This week, we will learn to acknowledge our negative thoughts and translate them into self-supportive ones.
Have a great week, everyone! I'll see you at your meeting!

3 Tbsp apple-cider vinegar
2 Tbsp molasses
2 tsp chili powder
1 tsp minced chipotle en adobo

2. Meanwhile, spray the grill rack with nonstick spray; prepare the grill. Sprinkle the chicken with the salt, place on the grill, and cook, turning occasionally, until browned, about 8 minutes. Brush with the barbecue sauce. Cook, turning frequently, until the chicken is deeply glazed and cooked through, 5–6 minutes longer.
